Exhibition Extended Through March

It has been a long winter here in New England. That is the only reason I can think of that these little stunning jewels haven't sold yet! Gallery in the Woods located on Main St. in Brattleboro, VT is extending the exhibition they are included in to the end of March.

The Beautiful Tangle series includes five, 5"x7"x1" mixed media paintings on cradle board. They are unbelievably affordable at $300. each. These mini compositions offer all that a large work of mine would offer. If you are interested in seeing these works in person please stop by the gallery soon!

The gallery also offers online and phone sales so if you cant make it to the show they will happily ship to your location.
The gallery can be reached by phone at 1-802-257-4777 and on line at

Everything is Alive, Everything is Interconnected

Omnia Scroll photos by Tatiana Carapostol

The Venice, Italy opening of the Omnia Scroll Exhibition took place on March 2nd. These are two photos of the opening I found on FB taken by Tatiana Carapostol.  The official exhibition photos can be found on the NEW Omnia Scroll Website.

Soon the O.S. website will also offer prints of the work incorporated into the project including my piece Particle Collision # 6 in the Beautiful Tangle series.  It will be the first time one of my paintings will be offered as a print!

Spring Renewal

As you can see my blog has a new and improved look!  One of my "spring" projects has been to update the appearance of my blogs bringing them into the new formats provided by blogger and clearing out the clutter on them.  All of this reorganizing is in anticipation of a new website that will feature my portfolios!  Yes, It is about time I get my online presence in order and I am looking forward to having an official website again!

Eye to Eye project blog header: Vincent Van Gogh eye painting Alicia Hunsicker, 2008

In 2008, I traveled to Shanghai, China as a part of a collaborative project called “Eye to Eye”. While there we presented our project in the Intrude: Art & Life 366 Interdisciplinary Art Exhibition at the Zendai Museum of Modern Art. We created a blog about it that I recently gave a face lift to.....You can check it out at: http://eyetoeye-intrudes.blogspot.com/

Alicia Hunsicker's art is undeniably beautiful. She is an expert at extracting the highly-detailed textures and fibers of the human body, bringing them from darkness, into the light, with a technical precision that rivals any modern-day master.
