Supernova
Supernova, Alicia Hunsicker, 2015 12" x 12" x 1.5", acrylic on cradle board |
A little studio update:
I have been painting but not as proficiently as I would like. I am still waiting for my new glasses and stronger lens prescription to arrive (any day now!). I have been working on a large 30"x30" painting which will be done soon and I finished this one to the left "Supernova" this past week.
I will be having an interview released with Whole Terrain Journal on this coming Monday the 15th. I will put a link in when it is posted. If you are interested in reading other interviews that I have done over the years you can find them at this Link.

Alicia Hunsicker's art is undeniably beautiful. She is an expert at extracting the highly-detailed textures and fibers of the human body, bringing them from darkness, into the light, with a technical precision that rivals any modern-day master.
